MID/WEST FRESH FOODS, INC.

Mid/West Fresh Foods has been serving Central and Southern Ohio area with fresh produce since June of 1987. Our corporate goals have always been to provide our customers with the best products, coupled with exceptional service at competitive prices. Our high standards for service allows our customers to completely manage their produce purchasing program.

Our focus is the food service customer. Our facility, equipment, product line and personnel are all dedicated to the food service sector. We service food service chains, oriental restaurants, fine dining establishments, hotels, institutional accounts, as well as independent food operations. Our customer mix enables us to provide customized, verifiable cost pricing programs for our customers with a unique product line.

In October of 1994, we moved into a new distribution center located at 1111 Cable Avenue. This enabled us to convert our former warehouse at 38 N. Glenwood Ave. into a ripening and repacking facility for tomatoes, avocados, and bananas. Only 1/2 block apart, these two facilities offer great flexibility and continued growth potential. We have built an additional cooler, operational in June, 2000. This brings our combined cooler space to 20,000 square feet.

As our name indicates, we distribute only fresh foods. These products include bulk produce items, also a full line of pre-cut vegetable products. We have a full fluid milk line and a complete inventory of fresh herbs and baby vegetables.

The primary personnel at Mid/West Fresh Foods offer a wide range of food service backgrounds. Their job experiences include stints as a regional chain consultant, fresh food processor, corporate purchasing agent, franchise owner and restaurant general manager.
